All students and alumni interested in applying to medical, dental, or veterinary school should review the . For those applying in the 2025-2026 application cycle, please plan to meet with ºÚÁÏÉçÇøHealth Professions Advising (HPA) as soon as possible for an initial meeting if you have not already done so. ºÚÁÏÉçÇøHPA will provide a committee letter for students and alumni applying to medical, dental, or veterinary school, who completed a majority of their pre-requisite coursework at SUA. The information applicants provide in the Intent to Apply form allows ºÚÁÏÉçÇøHPA to compose a meaningful committee letter on the applicant’s behalf. The committee letter will include academic and biographical information; the applicant’s motivation for pursuing their career path; an explanation of their clinical and research experience, community service, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills; a description of other unique attributes, competencies, challenges or adversities that the applicant has overcome; and the applicant’s letters of evaluation.
