黑料社区 of America provides on-campus housing to undergraduate and graduate students. Students spend their college career living on campus, making Residential Life one of the most important aspects of student life. The residence halls serve as a foundation for students in their need to not only 鈥渓ive鈥 on campus but also 鈥渓earn鈥 within an engaging community environment.

The mission of Residential Life is to nurture a sense of belonging in an innovative community that inspires the development of self-authorship, life skills, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion in every resident.

Self-Authorship & Accountability

Self-authorship is a resident鈥檚 capacity to understand and articulate who they are as it relates to their identities, beliefs, and values. Residents will recognize how internal realities affect the way they live their lives and how they relate and contribute to the world.

Life Skills

Life Skills focuses on a resident鈥檚 ability to understand the behaviors and knowledge necessary to effectively navigate life鈥檚 daily demands which impact well-being. Life Skills fosters the development of each resident to become active and productive members of their community.

Equity and Inclusion

Equity and Inclusion is a resident鈥檚 developmental process towards global awareness, where residents will develop the capacity to explore and engage in a community with diverse identities and experiences. From this exploration and engagement, residents will learn to use their capacity to advocate and promote equity.
